Tideswell Tales

Voices and Pictures from Tideswell and Litton's recent past

Traders, Shops and Markets

Tideswell was once endowed with a wealth of shops, meaning that few people needed to leave the village for anything. Litton also once had more shops than today and deliveries from Tideswell. The memories in this section recall the times when shopping was more local than today.
